We made it.
Seven chakras. Many herbs. One long, slow, beautiful climb — and today we arrive at the crown.
In this final episode of the chakra series, I walk back through every energy center we’ve visited together — from the root’s question of safety, through the sacral’s invitation to feel, the solar plexus’s reclaiming of power, the heart’s courage to love, the throat’s long exhale of truth, and the third eye’s quiet, insistent knowing — and then we rise into Sahasrara. The thousand-petaled lotus. The place where the individual self begins to remember it belongs to something larger.
Today’s steep is a blend — a ceremonial crown chakra tea formulated with tulsi, lavender, blue lotus, rose, lemon balm, skullcap, and ginger.
I share a personal reflection on twenty-plus years of this journey — from acupuncture school and qigong practices to temple markets in Thailand and chanting rooms in Oregon — and what all of it eventually taught me.
Put the kettle on. This one is worth sitting with.
